Healthy – no bake – Protein Energy Nut Balls. This is another great guilt free protein treat to have when you need something sweet and filling. Delicious, sweet and vanilla nut protein balls made using only simple and healthy ingredients and I am pretty sure you have most of them at home 🙂
Ingredients:
- oats (about 2 cups)
- vanilla protein (1 cup)
- chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds (about 0.25 cup)
- cinnamon
- maple sirup or honey (2-3 table spoons)
- no fat almond-vanilla milk
- walnuts or almonds grounded (3-5 table spoons)
- raw chocolate nubs (3 table spoons)
- cocoa powder
- Other optional ingredients: Almond or Peanut Butter
How to make:
- Poor all dry ingredients in a bowl and stir it
- Add the almond-vanilla milk and honey/maple sirup as necessary to make it smooth and sticky
- Take a spoon full of the mixture and roll into bite size balls using the palms of your hands
- Roll and cover in cocoa powder
- Place in fridge to allow ingredients to set before serving.
